• Authentication storage: local storage keeps the signed-in session, user and workspace context needed by the web application.
• Preference storage: local storage keeps theme, layout and interface preferences selected on that browser.
• Workflow storage: local or session storage may preserve in-progress app workflows, including an active billing checkout, so the user can complete or recover the flow.

The current public marketing and legal pages do not depend on advertising cookies or first-party analytics cookies in the application code.

A cookie is a small value a website asks a browser to store and return with later requests. Local storage and session storage stay in the browser but are not automatically sent with each request. This Policy covers all three because they can serve related session or preference purposes.

If you continue to an external authentication, payment or other provider, that provider may use cookies or browser storage on its own domain under its own notice. NIYAM does not control storage set solely by an external provider on that provider’s website.

Browser settings can inspect, block or clear cookies and site storage. Clearing authentication storage signs the user out. Blocking required browser storage can prevent account, preference or in-progress workflow features from operating correctly.

If NIYAM introduces non-essential analytics, advertising or similar technologies, this Policy and any required consent controls must be updated before those technologies are enabled for public users.
