What is NIYAM MCP?
MCP is the secure connection that lets an AI assistant use the NIYAM tools and workspace data a member is allowed to access.
Can an assistant see every NIYAM record?
No. The member must be active, AI Assistance must be enabled, and both the member's role and the connection grant must allow the requested tool.
Can ChatGPT or Claude make sensitive changes silently?
No. Sensitive mutations use a prepare step followed by an explicit confirmed tool. The person can inspect the proposed action before NIYAM saves it.
How is NIYAM MCP available today?
Personal NIYAM MCP is included in Founding Beta. ChatGPT and Claude connection is offered with assisted setup while durable OAuth rollout is completed.
