Mobile field operations

Finish the site action while the work is still in front of you.

Give supervisors and field teams short, role-focused actions for today’s work, attendance, materials, tasks, expenses and evidence, then keep the resulting records available for authorised office review.

The delayed-update problem

A field update loses context when it has to be rebuilt later.

Notes, attendance, photos and material activity are easiest to understand at the site. Re-entering them at a desk adds delay and makes missing site, date or responsibility harder to notice.

The working sequence

A clear path from capture to responsible action.

Each step keeps the record, its context and the next responsibility visible.

  1. 01

    Open assigned work

Resume the current site, date and role-specific action without navigating a desktop dashboard.

  2. 02

    Capture the small record

Complete the supported progress, task, attendance, material, expense or evidence action with minimal typing.

  3. 03

    See the save state

Keep online, pending, synced, failed and conflict outcomes honest where offline replay is supported.

  4. 04

    Continue office review

Use the same canonical record for authorised review, approval and reporting on the web.

Current small-screen proof

Frequent field actions remain compact at 390 pixels.

The approved evidence library shows Owner Home, Today and DPR, tasks, attendance and materials in the responsive authenticated portal. It does not relabel responsive web as a native app capture.

  • One reachable primary action
  • No horizontal document scrolling
  • The same canonical web records
Who does what

A useful record has a responsible next person.

The feature supports the handoff without blurring who records, reviews or receives the information.

01

Field worker

See assigned operational work and complete the supported frequent action.

02

Supervisor

Run the site day, roster, materials and issues with minimal typing.

03

Project manager

Review the resulting canonical records and move the permitted decision on web.

Connectivity boundary

Mobile does not mean every action is available offline.

Only the current typed offline-safe mutation families use bounded replay. Approvals, payments, subscription changes and other consequential online-only actions do not silently queue.

  • No universal-offline claim
  • Visible pending and recovery state
  • No silent conflict overwrite
Common questions

Questions about mobile field work.

Straight answers about scope, review and responsibility.

Which field workflows are supported?

Current mobile patterns cover supported Today and DPR work, tasks, attendance, materials, expenses, bills, photos and related operational records according to role and assignment.

Does every NIYAM action work offline?

No. Only mutation families in the current typed offline-safe contract can use bounded replay; consequential online-only decisions remain online-only.

Are the screenshots from the native Expo app?

No. The visible small-screen evidence is the responsive authenticated web portal. Expo behavior is implemented and repository-evidenced, but an authenticated native-Expo screenshot is not claimed here.
