Use the workbook well

A simple operating sequence

Start with the clean sheet and keep the completed example as a reference.

  1. 1

    Confirm the worker list

Remove duplicate and inactive identities before marking.

  2. 2

    Mark one site and shift

Avoid mixing attendance boundaries in an unlabeled register.

  3. 3

    Review exceptions

Check missing workers, unusual entries and late corrections.

  4. 4

    Pass on a reviewed input

Keep payroll or contractual decisions separate.

Before reliance

Review the record

  • IDs are stable
  • Site, date and shift are present
  • Statuses use the approved list
  • Late edits have reasons
  • Supervisor review is visible
  • The sheet is not treated as final payroll
Template questions

Clear answers before you download.

The file is editable, direct and deliberately limited to an operating starting point.

Does the workbook calculate wages?

No. It deliberately keeps attendance separate from rate, overtime and payroll decisions.

Can one register cover several sites?

The site field supports combined records, but operational review is clearer when each view is filtered or separated by site and shift.

How are status errors corrected?

Change the value through the approved process and record the reason and reviewer instead of silently replacing history.
